Requirements:

  • Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Program with a current Medical Assistant Certification or a graduate from a Practical Nursing program with current licensure

  • Proficient computer knowledge with the ability to learn the electronic record system

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving and typing skills

  • Ability to work as a team in a fast-paced environment

  • Compassionate with a passion for excellence in healthcare

  • Dermatology experience preferred but not required

Your Abilities:

  • Patient intake interviews

  • Assisting the physician with lasers, surgeries, and other medical procedures

  • Blood draws

  • Wound care and suture removals

  • Accurately and efficiently documenting encounters

  • Patient phone calls, triage, prior authorizations

  • Other responsibilities as assigned
